The ESMART Research Group, Physics Education Study Program, FKIP UNS, carries out Arduino Extracurricular Assistant Candidate Training activities at MA Al Madinah Boyolali

The ESMART Research Group from the Physics Education Undergraduate Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Sebelas Maret University collaborates with Madrasah Aliyah (MA) Al-Madinah Boyolali. This activity is carried out through the Research Group Grant Community Service program (PKM HGR-UNS) which is supported by the UNS Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM). This activity is the initial preparation for the implementation of the service entitled Follow-up to the Arduino Extracurricular Initiation in Welcoming the Industrial Revolution 4.0 for MA Al Madinah Nogosari Students.
The activity carried out in this activity is Arduino extracurricular assistant training. This is motivated by the need to select and train prospective Arduino extracurricular assistants. This activity will be held on Thursday, 02 May 2024 and Monday, 13 May 2024. The location of the implementation is at MA Al Madinah Boyolali which is located on Jalan Mangu-Nogosari km 03, Pilangsari Rt 06 Rw 01, Kel. Potronayan, District. Nogosari, Boyolali.
The Service Team involved in training activities for prospective assistants is 7 lecturers, namely Dr. Suharno, M.Si (Chair of the Community Service Team), Dewanto Harjunowibowo, S.Si., M.Sc., Ph.D. (Chair of the Research Group), Dwi Teguh Rahardjo, S.Si., M.Si. (Member), Dr. Sri Budiawanti, S.Si., M.Si. (Member), Anif Jamaluddin, S.Si., M.Sc., Ph.D. (Member), Lita Rahmasari, S.Sc., M.Sc., Ph.D. (Member), and Dr. Yulianto Agung Rezeki, S.Pd., M.Si. (Member). Apart from that, the implementation of training for prospective assistants was also assisted by 7 service assistant students, namely Rozin Fata Ulwan, Farah Yuki Prasetyawati, Aulia Arifa, Samsiatun Zuhro, Bagus Prayoga, Kiranda Dinata, and Frendi Ihwan Syamsudin, S.Pd., M.Pd. (Account Representative)
The training activities for prospective Arduino extracurricular assistants began with an introduction from Dewanto Harjunowibowo, S.Si., M.Sc., Ph.D as the ESMART Research Group that the training participants came from students taking the Digital Electronics course who had to carry out all directions from the trainer properly. seriously, because a selection will be carried out for participants who are deemed competent. The hope is that all students can assemble electronic components and create Arduino coding. Training activities are always controlled by Dr. Suharno, M.Si. as head of the ESMART HGR Service team. The participant assessment process was carried out by Dwi Teguh Rahardjo, S.Sc., M.Sc., Dr. Sri Budiawanti, S.Si., M.Si., Anif Jamaluddin, S.Si., M.Si., Ph.D., Lita Rahmasari, S.Si., M.Sc., Ph.D., and Dr. Yulianto Agung Rezeki, S.Pd., M.Si.

This activity can realize several elements of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), namely quality education and industrial innovation. This is because Arduino training can equip students with the skills to design electronics-based products and computer programs (coding) according to creativity. The output of this activity is to produce 6 students as assistants who will be deployed to provide training in Arduino extracurriculars at MA Al Madinah Boyolali. Fattah Kurniawan, one of the students selected as an assistant, stated that this activity was very interesting, challenging, and provided valuable experience in making electronic circuits.
